I am an amateur photographer, still learning, and hopefully I can showcase some of my pictures here at better resolution than facebook or instagram
About me and this website..
When covid started I bought a new camera and a new guitar - for now, the camera is winning! I like to photograph wildlife, watersports and the occasional landscape, mainly in Anglesey and Cheshire.
I don't sell photographs but I am happy to print and frame at cost price - just let me know here or on instagram @stuartbensonphotos if you're interested.
Somebody asked what I look for in photography. I think there's two answers. The first is that I'd rather take a good photo of something common than a mediocre photo of something rare. The second (OK, this is going to sound pseudy but give me the benefit of the doubt) is that, for me, photography is all about light. I am not aiming to photograph animals, people, or scenes, I am trying to photograph light falling on animals, people or scenes and creating something unique.
